Happy Monday Yuma! It is the last week of October — can you believe it?! This month flew by. With that being said, it is Halloweek and there are tons of things that will be taking place this week as well as next, so make sure to grab a warm cup of Farm House Market Coffee and enjoy this Week at a Glance.
Trick R’ Treat Street
On Thursday, October 31st, we will be hosting our annual Trick R’ Treat Street. Main street will be closed off and open for children to come and trick r’ treat from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Various businesses will be handing out candy, Hoch Real Estate will be hosting a chilli cook off, Yuma City Hall will be doing a children’s costume contest with prizes, Wags & Whiskers Grooming will be doing a pet costume contest with prizes, the Resource Center will be handing out books, and so much more.
Originally the plan was to have a live band, but due to a forecast with low temperatures, we are going to hold off on making these guys play in the cold weather. Stay tuned for future events where you can enjoy the musical talents of the Circuit Breakers.
Keep an eye out for our social media posts as I share business pages that will provide some additional information on what they’ll be doing as well as a map of both main street and off-main street businesses that will be handing out candy this year.
